Today marks the launch of my new website and blog, and what I hope will be the start of a new part of my business relationship with my customers. I’ll be posting information about small business accounting and tax related news on a regular basis, at least once a month to start, to educate business owners on the best ways to keep their financial affairs in good shape throughout the year. To help you get organized for 2010 tax preparation I’ve included my 2009 Tax Checklist as a simple tool to help guide you. If you are a small business owner, you will definitely want to take a look at the list, especially typical deductions and the documentation needed to back them up. Doing taxes this season can be a little easier with help from this list, saving your accountant valuable time, and you money.
